 Senior Principal Space Systems Engineer

*     Oversees the development of the GeoEye -2 next generation commercial imaging satellite.  Responsible for the Communications and Attitude Control Subsystems.  Also performs as a Vehicle Analyst that monitors vehicles and responds to vehicle anomalies to restore satellites on-orbit to an operational state. 

*     Oversees the state of health and status for all other space vehicles focusing on the Communication and Attitude Control subsystems.

*     Developed a GPS Receiver key upload procedure for the GeoEye-1 spacecraft.            

 *     Developed spacecraft drag models to assist with conserving propellant usage.         

*     Worked with the Orbital Analyst Group to assist with Collision Avoidance Maneuver planning.

*     Develops high-fidelity modeling tools to support space vehicle operations.  Primary languages used: Python, IronPython, C#, C++, MATLAB.

*     Created a Dashboard application system using HTML based documents to provide a rapid access information system for space vehicle data and documents.

*     Created method for plotting communication beam patterns on the Earth for FAA licensing application purposes.

*     As a Vehicle Analyst, involved with vehicle recovery during anomalies.
