Space Vehicle Design Engineer:

*        Lead Engineer for a Space Vehicle Analysis Team charged with the verification of expected space vehicle operations during testing phases. Leadership and management skills resulted in overturning a negative award fee problem. Provided technical support for rehearsals, system tests, and preparation for on-orbit operations including launch, early orbit testing, and anomaly resolution.  Verification of ground software commanding was also conducted.

*        Conducted Modeling and Simulation (M&S) for NASA’s Exploration Systems architecture including transportation and surface systems.  Investigated reusability of systems and potential commonality of systems for use on the Moon, Mars and beyond.

*        Developed methods for the design of human spaceflight systems to support the NASA Vision for Space Exploration including surface bases, ascent/descent vehicles, transports, rovers, and ISRU plants. Provided proposal development support.
