Senior Engineer & Chief Engineer, Orbital Express Program:

*        Provided Proposal, Systems Engineering, and Design support for the following programs:

*    NASA X2000, Air Force TechSat 21, Air Force Research Laboratory’s Innovative Low Cost Design Nanosatellite, Ball Rapid Spacecraft Design Center.

*        Developed methods for rapidly designing spacecraft using a minimum amount of resources and tools.  Applied methods and tools to multiple proposals.

*        Acted as Ball’s Chief Engineer and proposed as the Chief Architect for the DARPA Orbital Express Program.  Provided convincing briefings based on figures of merit to DARPA’s customers. Initial work resulted in the win of a concept design contract which led to the procurement of 2 satellites and a successful operational space program.  Led a team of engineers to develop spacecraft concepts to provide autonomous on-orbit servicing.

*        Created a plan for developing microsatellite manufacturing capabilities useful for Operationally Responsive Space projects.
